What do we stock?

York Sling Library stocks a huge range of carriers with which people can safely and comfortably carry their children from tiny newborns to around 6 years. All the carriers we carry comply with the appropriate EU standards and can be used to carry your child high, tight and in sight in compliance with the TICKS safety guidelines when fitted appropriatly.

Limitations

Please remember that

•  A sling is only as safe as the way it is used
• No sling universally fits or suits everyone. 
• These are not the only safe slings on the market, we have limits in both budget and storage space!
• ​We can not guaratee that a particular sling will be in stock when you visit, but it is very unlikely that an alternative will be!
• Weight limits stated by manufacturers are just that, an indication of how much load the sling can take without breaking... We have a sense of how our stock works with real people and are able to give realistic probably time frames.
