• Safe Sling Use must be taken very seriously.  At the York Sling Library and our trained Babywearing Consultants/Peer Supporters will demonstrate how to use a sling safely before you hire, and help you with your own purchases.
• Please take a good look at the manufacturers instructions for any sling you use and make sure the way that you are using the carrier complies with the TICKS guidelines on safe babywearing which ae issued by the UK Sling Consortium. 
• If for any reason you’re unsure of the safety of your child whilst in a sling then please stop using it immediately and contact us for advice.
